Job description

During your internship as a Quality Manager, you take on a Supervisory role. Tasks will include assisting the Housekeeping Manager, checking rooms, making schedules, assisting the international team with all sorts of queries. Moreover, you have direct contact with the Technical department and Front Office to ensure our Sofitel standards are met. Besides that, you will will supervise the stewarding department and the canteen.

What do we offer?

The Grand offers an internship salary of €600 gross per month. Moreover, the canteen offers you healthy meal during our shifts. If a specific uniform is required then you will receive it. Of course, you will also have you own locker to keep your belongings while you are at work. All trainings and perks that we offer to our employees are available to you. This internship is supposed to give you a taste of real working life. Our Be Balanced Club will assist us all to keep a healthy work-life balance.

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam offers five-star de-luxe in a unique Amsterdam historical ambience, with French elegance and grandeur. The international hotel is part of the Accor Hospitality Netherlands Group. Housed in the former town hall of Amsterdam, The Grand offers 179 rooms, of which 52 are suites. The Grand also features 19 InspiredMeeting rooms, an urban spa, Garden Bistro Oriole and a fine dining restaurant restaurant, Bridges.

Your profile!

We are looking for you if you meet the following requirements:

• Your internship should be for a minimum period of 5 months or longer.
• Enrolled in a hospitality management study.
• Work in an accurate manner with attention to detail.
• Willing to learn, show initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm.
• Excellence English skills, Dutch is a plus.
