Job description
In the Cost Control department of The Grand, we ensure that all goods and supplies for the various departments of the hotel are efficiently managed. This includes physically checking deliveries, organizing stock, and making sure that all orders are distributed correctly. You will also assist with keeping the purchase administration up to date and support the manager with invoice processing and inventory reporting.

The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive travel allowance. Every day you can enjoy a meal (for free) in our staff canteen.

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam offers five-star de-luxe in a unique Amsterdam historical ambience, with French elegance and grandeur. The international hotel is part of the Accor Hospitality Netherlands Group. Housed in the former town hall of Amsterdam, The Grand offers 179 rooms, of which 52 are suites. The Grand also features 19 InspiredMeeting rooms, an urban spa, an Garden Bistro and a fine dining restaurant, Bridges.
What will you do?
- Communicating daily with suppliers.
- Checking internal delivery systems and updating all records.
- Physically organizing containers with goods at our receiving center.
- Ensuring stock levels are updated.
- Picking up deliveries and sorting them for each department.
- Coordinating with all departments to meet their needs.
Student profile
We are looking for you if you meet these requirements:
- You are fluent in English.
- You are well organized and interested in Luxury Hospitality.
- You are enrolled in school for the entire duration of the internship.
- You are available for at least 22 hours per week.
